Services Offered / Pricing

A variety of counseling and advice/coaching services are offered:

In-Office Counseling Appointments:

All counseling sessions must be booked in advance; our office cannot accept walk-ins as Laurel is in session much of the day. Sessions are 50 minutes in length, and the cost is $200.00 per session. Double sessions are offered for $400.00 (double sessions must be booked when setting the appointment). Our office does not accept insurance, however, if you have out-of-network mental health benefits, a detailed receipt can be provided to you to submit for reimbursement. Cash, check, and all major credit cards are accepted. If you have a Health Savings Account with a Visa or Mastercard logo, that can be accepted and run through as credit as well.  Handouts are used throughout the session, so a notebook or folder that you can put the handouts in is recommended.

Counseling Intensives:

Sometimes, it is prudent to jumpstart and/or compact the change process based on individual circumstances and/or time constraints. The counseling intensive consists of four 50-minute sessions (100 minutes, a 20-minute break and then the remaining 100 minutes); waters and light snacks will be provided.  All counseling intensives must be booked and paid for in advance; the cost is $800.00.   Our office does not accept insurance, however, if you have out-of-network mental health benefits, a detailed receipt can be provided to you to submit for reimbursement. Phone Advice/Coaching Sessions:

The Bible instructs us to receive many sources of wise counsel.  Oftentimes, it helps tremendously to gain Wisdom from an outside source that is not emotionally connected to the circumstance.  Phone Advice/Coaching sessions are for anyone over the age of 18.  Sessions are 50 minutes in length, and the cost is $200.00 per session.  Double Phone Advice/Coaching sessions are offered for $400.00 (double sessions must be booked when setting the appointment).  The process for setting a Phone Advice/Coaching session is as follows:

  1. Fill out the Request a Service form on the website or call the office at (813)362-0939 to set an appointment time.

  2. When a Phone Advice/Coaching session has been set, (usually within 24 hours of the request unless it is the weekend), our office will call you to process the pre-payment (pre-payment is required for Phone Advice/Coaching sessions).

  3. Once you have scheduled and the payment has been processed for your Phone Advice/Coaching session, you will receive a phone call from Laurel at the appointed time from the office phone number (813) 362-0939 for your Phone Advice/Coaching session.

Important Notice

Phone Advice/Coaching is not counseling or therapy. Our correspondence does not meet the criteria for a therapeutic relationship; it does not and cannot take the place or provide the value of face-to-face counseling or therapy. This correspondence via phone is designed to provide limited advice and input to help you glean an expanded perspective and formulate a plan of action with a particular problem or circumstance. It is recommended that you also find a local, trained, licensed, Christian counselor/therapist with whom you can engage in the therapeutic process.  To find a counselor/therapist, you can call local churches to see whom they refer to for counseling/therapy or visit the American Association of Christian Counselors website.
